Diesel welcomes Claudio Henrique da Silva to its BJJ team. Enhancing its BJJ team to one of Europe's finest!
Diesel Gym's BJJ team is proud to welcome another Checkmat Black Belt to its team - Claudio Henrique da Silva. A BJJ Black Belt from Minas Gerais in Brazil, MMA competitor and gold medalist in the BJJ World Championships in 2009.
Claudio's arrival puts further emphasis on the fact that the Diesel BJJ team (with Checkmat) is a recognisable force in BJJ within Europe! and further strengthens its formidable MMA team.
He started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2000 in his home town of Minas Gerais, Brazil. His first teacher was Paulo Resende who he studied under for four years before training with Robert Drysdale and Leo Vieira.
After being London for a year, studying and training, he moved to Rio de Janeiro, to train with Ricardo Vieira, before returning to once again with his World Title, followed shortly by his Black Belt.
