Alexander Meramo (Diesel Gym) vs Richmond Annan (KO Gym)
70Kg - Alexanders wins on points
Alexander improves his fight record now to 2 fights with 2 wins. In a closely contested fight with a very strong Richmond, Alexander's strong knees throughout the bout brought him a solid victory over a very capable opponent.
Julien Lanchas (Diesel Gym) vs Brah Brahim (Gymbox)
80Kg - Julien wins on points
Julien giving away several kilos to an experienced kickboxer, demonstrated a calmness and confidence in his muay thai skills by avoiding the initial vigourous onslaught on punching combinations and utilising some excellent knees to slow down his opponent.
Liam Lavelle (Diesel Gym) vs Yahia Abaza (KO gym)
68Kg - Liam wins on points.
When Liam's scheduled opponent pulled out last minute, Yahia stepped up to the mark which allowed for an exciting re-match, as Liam lost a narrow points decision for the UKMF English Title at the end of 2009.
It proved to be another corker of a bout with Liam avenging the last fight with a points victory. There could be a rubber match in the offering methinks ;o)
Claire Haigh (Diesel Gym via TMT) vs Amanda Kelly (KO Gym)
59kg - 5X3mn, Full Thai Rules, Draw.
With Claire's impending World Title fight with Julie Kitchen, boiling down to 59Kg from her wasn't ideal preparation, but the tough battle that Amanda put up was!
A full-thai rules battle with Amanda's elbows coming against Claire's strong knees. A close fight with draw being a fair decision.
