Sitnarong Camp London
Sitnarong Camp London is a direct affiliate of the legendary Sitnarong Camp in Stockport, Greater Manchester, which is headed by
Master Sken Kaewpadung. Kru Cliff opened this camp under Master Sken's direct guidance and support, in order to bring his teachings to a wider audience.
Muay Thai boxing is the national sport of Thailand and is widely regarded as the most effective stand-up martial art in the world. Known as 'the art of eight limbs', it uses not just kicks and punches, but also knees and elbows as striking weapons, together with a form of stand-up grappling often referred to as clinch work.
Master Sken Kaewpadung's arrival in the UK in 1977, from northern Thailand, represented the introduction of muay Thai to the martial arts community. It has increased in popularity and is now one of the most respected styles in the UK. It is widely featured on television programmes such as Channel Five's “Now Is The Time - Night Of Combat” and Eurosport's "Fight Club".
