London's 'Mighty' DIESEL GYM, Limehouse

When Diesel Gym opened its doors in Limehouse, it wasn’t the first time pride, honour and fighting spirit had been in evidence in this particular corner of the East End. This buzzing gym just off Cable Street was opened by Kru Cliff Bura of London Sitnarong to try and give people a practical training space in the heart of London. The gym encapsulates the old East End spirit of hard work, dedication and pride. This, coupled with a non-intimidating environment and thriving social calendar, makes Diesel gym the number one choice for martial arts in London.

Just minutes from the City of London, and housed in an airy, spacious former sweet factory, Diesel Gym is martial arts training heaven: gleaming, white walls; a huge matted training space; a 14-foot ring; a battalion of heavy bags, speedballs and a wall-mounted Thai elbow pad – along with the best in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and MMA instruction. The venue boasts a seven day a week syllabus tailored to suit all students from complete novice to fighter-in-training.

The venue is named after revered thai boxer Dieselnoi Chor Thanasukarn, a fighter whose piercing knee strikes were so feared, he only retired, in 1982, because he ran out of opponents willing to get in the ring with him. We’re proud of our fighters’ success - they’re competing on cards all over the capital and beyond. But we’re equally as proud of the service we offer all students: top-flight instruction; a wide variety of class types that cover every requirement from cardio fitness to sparring and ringcraft.

The gym is just two stops by DLR from Bank Tube station, and then three minutes’ walk from Limehouse DLR station.   Click here for map
